Some of you will have met Joe, from this Christian charity, when he visited our church
hall in September to tell us about their projects in Malawi. One of their key projects is ‘treetwinning’ whereby they sell handmade Christmas tree decorations. For every decoration sold for £10, funding is made available for 10 trees to be planted in Malawi.
This is vital to reduce deforestation, with all the ecological and environmental issues connected to deforestation.
These decorations make great Christmas presents, as every single penny goes towards planting trees. They are handmade by Joe with donated materials, so there are no production costs. We have a large number of these decorations securely stored in the church hall, so please let Andrew Desborough know if you would like to purchase any.
