Samaritan’s Purse (Operation Christmas Child) shoebox appeal

This appeal proved to be hugely encouraging, with a number of groups involved as follows:

Neyland Community School – pupils were involved in packing 5 boxes per class, accumulating a grand total of 56 shoeboxes.

Life Skills after school club – the pupils from this club, run by Hope Pembrokeshire, helped to load boxes into a car for onward delivery to the central collection point.

Saundersfoot Youth Club – 3 young people from this club, led by Hope Pembrokeshire, contributed a shoebox each.

Friday morning group – the members of this group helped to pack 12 shoeboxes and contributed to the shipping costs.

St. Clement’s church – 6 packed shoeboxes were contributed by members of the church.

St. Clement’s church – a number of church members contributed to the costs of packing shoeboxes.

Overall, an extremely positive community-orientated contribution.
