Eco Church awards in St David’s Diocese, Oct 2023

Congratulations to St Marys, Walton East, and St Annes, Southgate, for both gaining silver awards. Well done everyone there. ✔😎. If you look at the map below of Eco Churches in the diocese. You might note something of a gap in central Ceredgion, so do think about enrolling if this is your area.

NB. A number of us looked at Eco Church in 2022/2021. It was a good process to make us think how as a church we could be friendlier to the planet and we thought that St Clements and St Tudwals would qualify for at least a bronze award, possibly a silver. We would do well to look at this again. If anyone has a particular interest just let Alan or a member of the Church Committee know. We in particular will need someone who will input information online. It’s not difficult if you use the internet anyway.

I will hold another ‘Beginners Guide to Eco Church - Zoom Workshop’ on Thurs 16th Nov at explaining what Eco church is, how to begin the process, log in, and take the questionnaire. One hour max. All welcome. Do bring any questions you may have. The Zoom log in is:
